One hour of games sounds simple until it becomes a daily argument. The child asks for one more round, the parent says time is up, and the rule starts feeling like a negotiation instead of a routine.
Make game time a mode. Put games into one group, agree on when that group becomes available, and return it to locked status when time is over. Downloads, in-app purchase prompts, and game-related social entries should be reviewed at the same time.
The value is consistency. When the same rule works the same way every day, children are less likely to test every edge of it.
iPhone Locker can help parents create a game-time setup that opens the right apps during the agreed window and closes the door when the window ends.
